It’s that time again, when we reflect on our achievements for the year just gone.
Numbers-wise, 2022 was another productive period: 74 new matches across Sydney, Central Coast and Western Sydney - taking us to a grand total 479, while we also prepped a total of 80 new volunteers.
Making new friends
While we’re all about pairing up buddies, we’re also about increasing social circles and providing participants with the opportunity to meet more people and experience new events. We inform everyone who signs up that they’re part of the Gig Buddies community and, as such, they’re welcome to attend our social outings.
In 2022 we facilitated 53 face-to-face gatherings - averaging more than one a week, while we also hosted a total of 27 online offerings. This year we connected with more than 1,250 buddies, either via Zoom or courtesy of our in-person catch ups.

And in the penultimate working week of the year, we managed to squeeze in three more match meetings.
