It’s (almost) cake time 🎂

Our fifth birthday is fast approaching and we’re down to the final few tickets.

On Thursday 13 February we’ll be getting ‘get shakey in The Shakey’, celebrating as we turn five!

We’re on the verge of selling our allocation of tickets. To join the party and help us blow out the candles on our birthday cake, click here.

I don’t like cricket….. I love it 🏏

And just like our birthday shindig, our trip to the opening game of the Women’s T20 World Cup, Australia vs. India, is also on the verge of selling out.

To join us for the match, taking place at Sydney Olympic Park on Friday 21 February, click here.

Another match

In other news, we welcome our newest pairing to the family.

Say hello to Amy and Jessica (L - R, above). We’re delighted to have you on board and we look forward to seeing you out and about.

Come work for us

And finally, our parent company, ACL Disability Services, are hiring.

ACL Disability Services are currently looking to hire a permanent part time support worker (up to 76 hours a fortnight) in our Chatswood location.

Working in a small team, the position is based around a fortnightly roster which includes some sleepover shifts.

Working with 5 adults with mild to moderate learning disability and autism, the position entails assistance with daily living skills and some personal care - as well as community access through a variety of social opportunities.

Other duties include assisting residents to attend medical and other appointments. A vehicle is located at the property for staff use - this position requires a current drivers licence.

While some experience in the disability or allied sector is an advantage, this is not essential.

We are looking for a person who will be the right fit for our clients and our staff.

As a small organisation we offer a high level of support in the position as well as paid training.

If you (or someone you know) would like to apply, please direct all enquiries to Carol: carol@assistcom.org or 02 9419 6951
