Sharkies shine again

Updated: Aug 17, 2021

Thanks to those who joined us on Saturday evening for Cronulla Sharks’ victory over Parramatta Eels.

Gig buddies formed part of the 12,386 crowd as our charity partner secured the win with a dominant performance, 42 - 22.

Clear your calendars

Calling all NRL fans’ - pencil Wednesday 21 August in your diary.

Just like the previous three seasons (below right) we have been invited to Cronulla to attend a Sharks training session.

Sharks Buddies with Cronulla Sharks

Starting at 10am, gig buddies will have the opportunity to get selfies and autographs from the Sharks squad - and invites are open to all.

Attendees are required to make their own way to and from Shark Park; after meeting and greeting the players gig buddies are then invited to join us for a spot of lunch at Sharkies Leagues Club.

If you’d like to mingle with the Sharks, click here to register your attendance or get in touch via email: info@gigbuddiessydney.org

Further dates for your diary

The NRL aside, we have a number of other Gig Buddies Sydney socials coming up.

Beginning on Friday 21 June when we venture to Marrickville’s Gasoline Pony for a night at the pub, followed by our Christmas in July celebrations at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium (27/7), and finishing with a bout of pro wrestling at Blacktown’s Marayong Community Centre on Friday 2 August - we have something for everyone this winter.

Buddies out and about

And finally, the Sydney German Film Festival concluded on Sunday and buddies Ralf and Nik (below left, L - R) headed to Leichhardt’s Palace Norton Street Cinema to check out some of the films on offer.
