Now that our involvement with Cronulla Sharks has come to an end for another season, we take a look back on the impact following our third year with the NRL side.
Unfortunately for Sharks’ fans, their season has come to an end following Saturday's play off defeat to Manly Sea Eagles.
Thanks to the generosity of our charity partner, a number of buddies - including Chris and Michael (top, L-R) and Jacob (bottom, left and right) - were in attendance for the game at Brookvale Oval, which Manly took out 28 - 16.
In line with our charity partnership, for the past three seasons we headed to Shark Park on 12 occasions, experiencing some of the best live sport available. During that time we were joined by more than 450 buddies, while more than 60 buddies watched NRL for the first time.
Up, up Cronulla! Up, up Sharks Buddies!
Expanding the team
It’s been another action packed week at Gig Buddies Sydney HQ.
Last Monday (9/9) we welcomed Harry, Robert and Stephen (below, L - R) - our latest trained volunteers - to the team.
And we also paired up another three buddies: say hello to Sarah and Charlie (left, L - R), Andy and Ben (centre, L - R) and John and Michael (right, L - R).
We’re delighted to welcome all newbies to the Gig Buddies Sydney family.
