"….I went on a birthday cruise to Tasmania"

"I had a fun month in January as I went on a birthday cruise to Tasmania. We went down to Hobart to see the exhibition called Namedropping at MONA which was very interesting. It was all about things associated with famous people like David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley to just name a few. We also looked around the rest of the gallery before we got back on the MONA ferry to Constitution Dock where our cruise ship was.

On the cruise I really enjoyed listening to the live band, Rhythm and Jive, every night. I’m now Facebook and Instagram friends with members of the band so I can follow their adventures on the ship.

On our first day back home we went to the Australian Reptile Park in Somersby where we saw quite a few different animals and got mugged by a few kangaroos who really wanted the contents of the bag of ‘roo food we had bought."
