We’ve got a new member staff to introduce.
It’s a pleasure to welcome Charlotte, our newly appointed Northern Beaches hub coordinator.
As the first point of contact for buddies based within the region, Charlotte will play a leading role in helping us to increase awareness of who we are and what we do - along with undertaking match meetings and facilitating our social gatherings.
Charlotte, who will be working three days per week, had this to say:
"I am honoured to be a part of the Gig Buddies team as the Northern Beaches Hub Coordinator. I look forward to meeting everyone and being a part of some fun gigs!
I grew up in Canada, but have been on the Northern Beaches for 15 years now. I have been in this sector for a couple of years and adore meeting new people and helping them along the way! Inclusivity and equity are key factors in everyday life, and no one should be prevented from having these. This is why Gig Buddies is such an important program and one I am now proud to be a part of!
As someone who has a neurodivergent sibling, it is essential to do what I can to change societal expectations and improve the quality of life for all participants involved.
I love meeting new people and bonding, whether that be through music, food, books, movies and everything in between! I look forward to learning about you all and finding out what gigs you’d like to participate in. Please feel free to also let me know of any suggestions you may have!
I’m so excited to be a part of the Gig Buddies family and to have some entertaining events!"
